I Can Afford This Now

Lighting has always been more than utility for me—it’s ambiance, memory, emotion, story, and... well, repurposing trash. I used to walk through homes or shops and whisper to myself, “I can’t afford that.” But now? Now I say, “I can afford this to make that.” Because sometimes the glow you live in matters more than the grind you’re surviving, and I eventually learned it doesn't take breaking the bank to express your creativity, or to bring a unique warmth and sexy energy to your space. This series is for anyone who’s ever walked into a store to window shop knowing damn well you can't take any of it home. It's dreamy, moody, cozy, and layered. Every piece here started with what I had: imagination, corks, wooden boxes, soda can tabs, hardware, wire, pliers, and an insatiable need to make something affordably beautiful with my hands. I like to tell people the goal is to turn "trash" into treasure.
